The first big reason is fewer aches and pains – or indeed no pain at all.  This also means fewer – or no – pain medication.  Many of my clients come because they experience pain in their daily lives – back ache, sciatic pain, neck and shoulder pain, headaches, migraines … and some take the maximum daily doses of pain meds.  After 4 sessions most have substantially or completely come off the pain meds and are routinely experiencing no pain at all.

Secondly, everyone I have ever massaged tells me that they sleep so much better both immediately after the treatment and – after a few sessions – they regularly sleep better than they ever have before.  This is quite easy to understand.  Massage soothes our whole system – body, mind, emotions – and we rest, relax and sleep better.  Simple.

Thirdly we have more energy. A massage cannot give you extra energy, but by having a massage all your muscles soften and loosen, the body doesn’t hold them tense anymore and this releases energy which means we feel as if we have more energy.  Obviously, sleeping better also contributes to this increase in energy too.

If you consider those 3 reasons together you can see why regular massage is so powerful and effective.

Think about your week when you have no aches, pains or soreness anywhere, you sleep well every night and have loads more energy … howwould you week actually be?  It wouldlikely be a much easier week wouldn’t it? The days would be more pleasant, fun activities would be more fun,problems would be easier to resolve.  In short,we cope so much better with life.
