Have a Happy and Restful Easter
My mission is for everyone to be as well as they can be and I accomplish this in my twin roles as massage therapist and life coach. These roles cross over too. I see that when people are happier with their lives, their bodies are more relaxed and less prone to injury and overuse, so aches and pains are fewer or non-existent.
Which set me wondering what I wished for you this Easter weekend. What would I wish for everyone reading this that would result in them being happier and more well in themselves in as many ways as possible?
Here’s the 3 things that I came up with …
- Get some exercise, fresh air and daylight. Most people feel better being outside and daylight is good for our bodies and minds. Exercise is brilliant for creating energy, shifting emotions to positive, flexing and lubricating all our joints and helping us sleep better. Go for a walk, sit in the garden, take the kids to the park or the coast. Just go outside lots. Go gently though – I don’t want to see loads of you next week with injuries from too much gardening and car-washing!
- Eat well – or at least don’t do too much damage to your body. Eat lots of fresh and raw food, not too much fat or sugar and drink alcohol in moderation. Chocolate is great but does that easter egg actually need to be finished in one morning? Pace yourself 😊 Oh and drink more water too!
- Do more of what makes you feel good. This one is huge. When we do what makes us feel good, our whole system releases tension and we feel better in every way – emotionally, mentally, physically, energetically and spiritually. If you love alone time – get some of that for yourself; read, go for a walk or a bike ride, have an early night, have a lie in one morning. If you love being with people, make some arrangements, be social. Do what you love.
I wish you all a lovely Easter and I hope that you feel better for the long break.
