MBS at The Forum
Friday 6th and Saturday 7th May was the 21st East Anglian Mind Body Spirit festival at The Forum.
Once again, I was there giving 15-minute mini-treatments of NO HANDS Massage. These treatments are done on the couch without undressing – just slip off your shoes and lay covered with a towel as I work deep into those tight mucles.
This is done so slowly and gently but with all the pressure needed to release the tension – there is absolutely no pain at all.
A total of 28 lucky people experienced this treatment over the weekend. If you were one of those 28, thank you for coming and I hope you continue to feel the benefits.
I had a great weekend.
Offer of a £10 Treatment
If you were one of those who had a mini-treatment, here’s another thank-you:
Book a treatment with me in Attleborough for just £10
Just a tenner for a whole hour of excellent massage!
Contact me before the end of May and book the appointment, but the actual appointment can be any time before the end of June.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Three new events in May
New events for May 2011
I have just updated the Future Events page with three new events in May:
- A Ladies Pamper evening at Beetly School, just north of Dereham
- The 21st East Anglian Mind Body Spirit event at The Forum in Norwich
- A Mind Body Spirit event at Connaught Hall.
Check out these and other events and come and try NO HANDS massage for yourself.
Great Ellingham MBS*
- Stiff and sore shoulders
- Pain and aches between the shoulder blades
- Painful hips and lower back
- Neck pain and migraine
- Stress – just needing some "head space"!
Every single client did really well, really breathing and letting go of what they felt. The results?
Smiling and happy ladies, backs and shoulders moving freely and with no pain, heads clear and free of ‘stuff’.
Well done to everyone and thanks to the organisers for a high quality event. If you missed it, make sure you find out about other events – it was excellent.
Harford Manor School MBS
Over the weekend I was at the Harford Manor School Mind Body Spirit event, Ipswich Road, Norwich. Over the two days, I met and chatted with lots of interested people and did lots of taster treatments of NO HANDS massage. These are done clothed with no oil. The results – as usual – were amazing!
The most-heard comment this weekend?
Wow!
Other comments included:
I haven’t felt that mobile and flexible for 5 years!
… my head just feels clear – empty …
I feel lighter and taller. I didn’t realise how all the stuff I was carrying around was weighing me down
I feel fantastic … 20 minutes is just not long enough
… do I have to get up now?
These events are always a delight to do – showing people that there is an alternative to feeling weighed down, stiff and sore, heavy, sluggish and lacking in energy. People of all ages received treatments and did so well.
On both mornings I gave live treatments with a small audience. These events are special – I do a real treatment on a real person (not someone I know or a client) and a small audience watches everything and becomes part of the treatment. I want to say a huge ‘thank you’ to my clients for their outstanding work on the couch and their grace and patience before and after. You both did exceptionally well.
If you had a treatment over this weekend, I encourage you to consider this:
Think how much better you felt afterwards. This was after just 20 minutes of treatment in a classroom with other people around. Imagine how you would feel after an hour? Also, massage is cumulative – each session adds to the last and multiplies the benefits. The first time you didn’t quite know what to expect. The second time you will be able to relax easier and start letting go sooner. By the third time you come, as soon as you get on the couch, the process has already started. I recommend a series of 4 treatments initially – 1 each week.
Get in touch and we can discuss how best to work together to achieve the outcome you want.
Apprentice Master!
I am delighted to announce that I have I have successfully completed the full year of NO HANDS training and have been accepted onto the NO HANDS Mastery programme.

During 2010 I completed the 4 residential NO HANDS courses totalling 15 days of advanced bodywork training.
The Mastery programme is probably the most advanced and demanding training programme available to professional bodyworkers. It consists of 4 residential weekends – totalling 12 days over the course of the year. During this time I will continue to develop my massage skills and gain invaluable experience.
In addition to direct training and feedback from the founder of NO HANDS massage – Gerry Pyves – all the therapists peer review and provide feedback on each others’ work. We also receive feedback from the Masters present – there are currently only 15 Masters in the world.
This training will take place in Liverpool from Sunday to Wednesday inclusive on 4 weekends during 2011. Sadly this may mean that your regular appointment slot may need to be moved, but believe me, it will be worth it!
I am excited … and a little nervous too!
Yoga Day Oct 23rd
Saturday was an excellent day at Wymondham High School supporting the British Wheel of Yoga Eastern Region at their AGM.
I did a total of eleven 15-minute taster treatments and met and chatted with lots of Yoga teachers there. For those interested in Yoga, check out their website and in particular the list of classes in Norfolk and Suffolk.
People had necks and shoulders released, calf muscles eased, huge smiles and energy rushes and an amazing release by a very sensitive women who knew exactly what she needed to do.
Sorry for the Delay!
I also had people not wanting to get off the couch after their treatment so a big ‘sorry’ to those whose tasters were delayed! When people get on my couch, they get my full attention and they get the time that they need – sometimes that means I run over, but I would do the same for you, so I hope you feel that fair is fair.
Full Treatment Just £10
Once again we had a free draw with a prize of a full NO HANDS treatment. Well done to the winner and bad luck to others, but the Introductory Offer of a full treatment for just £10 is still running until the end of December, so call or email me to take advantage of that.
Thanks to everyone who came or helped organise and hope to see you all again soon.
Taste of Spirit Oct 2nd
21 Happy Tasters!
A very big ‘thank you’ to all those who came to the event at the Connaught Hall in Attleborough on Saturday 2nd October.
The event was called ‘A Taste of Spirit’ and it was fantastic!
I was there doing NO HANDS massage along with 3 colleagues and between us we had 2 couches busy all day and did a total of 21 treatments.
We saw great improvements in backs, shoulders, necks and legs just from working through clothes and towels for 10 minutes! This was on the stage in a busy hall with over a hundred people watching. Well done to all of you who came and tasted the amazing power of NO HANDS massage.
Just imagine what you could do with an hour of great treatment!
Special Introductory Offer
If you didn’t get a chance to try NO HANDS for yourself (or you did and you want more!) the Introductory Offer of £10 for a full treatment Is still running. Just contact me for details.
Some people have asked why I am offering treatment so cheaply. Is it because I don’t do the whole treatment, or because I am no good? Actually it is neither of those reasons.
It is because I believe in massage and NO HANDS especially and I want as many people as possible to see what it is like for themselves. Price is an issue for some people so I am making it as accessible as possible. So, if you are a doubter, come along and try me.
Free Draw Winner
The Free draw was won by Mrs W from Norwich – so congratulations to her and bad luck to the others, but you can still try the experience for yourself for just £10.
My Colleagues
I’d like to say a huge ‘thank you’ to my colleagues for coming to support me and help do such great work in Attlebrough.
David Young is from Bury St. Edmunds and you can find his site here.
Sue Locke and Kevin Newstead came down from Norwich and you can contact them here.
Peace One Day Sept 21
Tuesday September 21st – The UN International Day of Peace

In 1999, filmmaker Jeremy Gilley launched Peace One Day as a starting point for peace. His mission was simple: to establish the first ever annual day of global ceasefire and non-violence.
Remarkably, in 2001 he achieved his primary objective when the 192 member states of the United Nations unanimously adopted 21 September as an annual day of global ceasefire and non-violence on the UN International Day of Peace.
Last year Coca-Cola had a million cans carry the Peace One Day logo and this year they have used their involvement in Innocent Smoothies to go one step further.
They have developed a Peace One Day smoothie – available in the little bottles & big cartons. The little bottles come with a free Peace One Day badge and they have put the day all over their website etc. This is a major plus for the day and will really spread the message.
Look out for them in shops now and you can see what they are doing at www.innocentdrinks.co.uk
Peace One Day in Attleborough
Jeremy now challanges everyone to take action to support. My commitment is to offer a Day Of Massage.
In my practice every day I see the peace produced by massage: peace that my clients take back into homes, into offices, to their families and into the whole community. That’s why I’m offering massage on the UN International Day of Peace. I’m not alone, other NO HANDS therapists up and down the country are also supporting Peace One Day in their own way.
This year, I will be supporting Peace One Day by having a whole day of massage on Tuesday 21st September with all proceeds donated to the Peace One appeal.
Peaceful Massage for only £10 on Sept 21st
What better way of spreading peace than having a wonderful relaxing massage. Have a back massage, head, neck and shoulders or legs and feet.
Treat yourself and those you love and spread the word about the International Day of Peace.
